Default Buying a Baby Russian, some detailed info wanted...

I am just now buying a .38 Single Action, First Model, a Baby Russian, with SN in the mid 23500 range. I am ASSUMING this is 1877...but I would like to know the DATES if that it is known. It has a 3 1/2" barrel, is nickel and mechanically very good, as are my other 2, one in mid 700 range the other a 5" model in the mid 5000 range, both firmly in 1876...so the new guy would be the newest made of my 3.
Won't have it for a while, but will put up pix when it's here...
FWIW, these little things were amazingly well made. I have shot one back in the 1970's and it is a real credit to the workers who made them that they still work...they are now 139 years old! I'm 68 and not working so well myself.
Thanks for any help or comments.

added pic of my current 2...

Interesting collection. An early (SN 700 range) with the Aldrich Device filler screw and single side plate screw. A later (mid 5000's) with a four inch barrel (not 5" as stated) and two side plate screws. And now you will be getting an example of the "common" Baby Russian. Nice collection!

Sorry yeah, 4". That one came from Maine, the older one from Texas. The newest is coming from New York.
I am starting to sell my collection but I will keep these Babys and keep my eyes open for any that I might like in the future.
