.32 Single Action (aka Model 1 1/2 Centerfire)?
Just picked this puppy up - I believe it is a Model 1 1/2 SA (73xxx) but not sure? The top barrel:
SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A. PAT'D JAN 17 & 24 65
JULY 11 65 AUG 24 69 FEB 20 1877 REISSUE JULY 25 1871
Thanks!
UPDATE: I believe I ID'd it as a .32 Single Action (a.k.a. Model 1 1/2 Centerfire) according to Supica and Nahas Book Page 76.

Nice old 32 rim fire. Probably post war ,late 1860s. Good little niche gun.
Appears she made a little detour thru Bubbas Bumper shop.
Common occurrence back then. Nice find.

So far as I know the only S&W top break revolvers in rimfire were the Model 3' s in .44 Henry caliber. The original poster has properly identified it as a .32 single action CF, AKA model 1 1/2, made in 1878 or later..
