Model 2 (Army) 2ith a Three Pin Frame - Missing Pin?
I just picked up a Model 2 and noticed it is missing a pin. Does anyone know where one could buy one?

Thanks!

That is the pin that limits the upward movement of the cylinder stop .You could probably make one from a small nail or a drill bit that fits the hole . It doesn't need to be a hardened pin

FWIW - I found a "Cylinder Stop Pin" for a S&W Model 2 on Numrich Gun Parts for a few bucks - let ya know if it works.

Received the pin and it works like a champ! A great $2.85 investment. If someone else needs one - the part number was 1505000 Cylinder Stop Pin.

Actually the pin from Numrich could be NOS so could still be original.

Funny you should say that JSR because the pin didn't look new - looked like it had the same patina as the gun. Thanks for the information.
