Default Take a look at this....

I'd never used Proxibid before. This auction reminded me of the Old Town Station catalog!!!

I bid on several and came away with this:

S&W .38 Double Action, 4th Mod... Auctions Online | Proxibid

I can't remember that many S&W topbreaks for sale in one auction!

Best,
Charles

Kull was Jim Supica's partner in the auction business when Jim ran 0ld Town Station several years ago. When Jim left to become the Director, National Firearms Museum @ the NRA in Fairfax, VA., Kull took over Jim's 0ld Town Station business and has continued in fine fashion. Proxibid seems to have finally got their act together and the bugs out of their software. They now provide world wide online internet bidding on quite a few auctions of all types. I have been using them to pick up occasional goodies at auctions far from where I live, that I would not have even known about otherwise. The only caveat to watch out for is how high the buyer's premium is and what potential shipping cost could be. Ed.

Good catch! Every once in a while, I will see one at gun shows in that condition for three times that much .

Congrats

When you receive it apply some Mother's Billet metal polish. I bet it will help the appearance. I have a nickel hammerless model that is in slightly better appearance condition and a lot of fun to shoot. A couple of years ago, I paid $75.00 for mine plus a 10% auction premium and sales tax.
