Hi,
Can you tell me what the value of my S&W is.

Serial number is 16003
S&W Springfield Mass U.S.A. PAT'D JAN 17 24 65 I think that's what it said
July 11th 1965 , Aug 24 I think it said 59 or 69 Feb 20 1877 Reissue July 25 1873 or 77 I'm not sure. PAT'D APR 20 75 DEC 1877.

The gun pictured is a Model 1 1/2 New Model or .32 Single Action Center Fire. The caliber is is.32 S&W, not .35.

Welcome to the Forum Your picture is too dark to tell condition of the gun, which is the key to value for this model. From what I can see, I would place it as between $100- $225. These are not rare and to have much value to a collector, they need to be almost new condition, with most of the original finish remaining. Ed.

I just want to say I'm very new at this I'm willing to learn as much as I can.

Welcome! As stated above, the chambering is .32 S & W, also called the Short (there is a .32 S & W Long that is too long to fully seat). If the gun is mechanically sound current factory loaded ammo is safe to use. Here is one source but there are many others:
