Double action, single action? Spur trigger or trigger guard?

Welcome to the forums from the Wiregrass! It's a .32 Double Action, 4th Model. They were made from 1883-1909 with yours being somewhere around the early years likely 1885-6. S&W made 239,600 of the 4th model over that time frame. It is an antique and we like pictures .

You're welcome. That's a little far for me to travel but I wish you well in your sale.

Mine was refinished shortly before I bought it for Cowboy Action Shooting pocket pistol side matches. I paid $200 for my 4th Model shooter. SN: 58209.

God bless,
Birdgun

Just to help you with proof of antique status, here is the BATF letter that identifies the last serial number for antique status for the 32 Double Action.
