I'm no expert, but it looks like a Spanish or Belgian copy of a Smith and Wesson. Are there markings on it?

You need better lighting/better pictures so wee can see what it looks like. Right now it just looks like an all black gun.
Value will depend on the country you live in

Welcome to the Forum. The how to identify your gun link is not much use in this instance, since the revolver is not a S&W. Seeing the trigger, it looks like a Harrington & Richardson revolver. If you could take a clear picture of the gold medallion in the stocks, we might be able to tell you the manufacturer for certain.

Welcome to the forums from the Wiregrass! From the scroll design around the grip screw, I think it might be an Iver Johnson. H&R and Iver Johnson both copied the S&W top break design. It could also be Spanish or Belgian. Are you in Azerbaijan?

Glad you found it. Is it Spanish or Belgian? It is not an Iver Johnson or Harrington and Richardson.

I have an old 1909? tip up revolver and need help with which way I need to push the release buttons in order to open to load ? i purchased this revolver 50 years ago,it was completely rusted solid/ I now have every thing moving and need to open to inspect the other parts and do not want to force the release the wrong way. I have pushed on the release with my fingers and they do not move,so which way is the right way?

You'd be ahead to start a new thread. Take a look at the portion of the forum that tells you the information to post for an accurate identification of your revolver. At this point, we don't even know if it is a Smith and Wesson. If you can post a good clear picture of the release "buttons," someone may be able to help you.
The two break top revolvers I have require the "buttons" to be lifted up to release the barrel and cylinder.
