Default s&w .32 revolver

New to this site and have a s&w .32 6 shot revolver of my grandfather's that I would like to know when it was made. It is a .32 ctg and the # on the bottom of the grip is 207717 and just inside the receiver is the #1444. No other markings or numbers or this pistol.

Welcome to the forums from the Wiregrass! We are going to need more information or a picture or two to help you more. I'm presuming this is a swing out cylinder handgun in .32 S&W Long CTG. Going on that presumption, it likely shipped just before WWI as a .32 Hand Ejector, Model 1903, 5th Change. Does it look like this revolver?
