Hi----have a s/w tip up revolver, 7 shot, 3 1/4 in barrel,cal 22short,adj sight, 4 screws.. ser# 117832 {no visible letter}.patened apr 3, 1853 Looking for yr. and value etc. thanks;

Welcome to the Forum. You have a S&W Model One, 2nd issue revolver. There are no original adjustable sights on these guns, so I'm not sure what you are considering to be adjustable about them. Your gun was made in late 1867 and has lost all the original silver plating on the brass frame and most of the blue in the barrel & cylinder. Value is minimal, probably around $200 if all parts are original. The barrel, cylinder and frame will have an assembly code stamped on them - usually two or three letters and/or numbers combination. If they match, these parts are original. The stocks, if original, may have the serial number marked on the back of the right panel. Ed.
