What is the serial number? I just purchased 5439 with no S&W logo and no caliber marking and I am trying to determine if there is a time frame where some were marked and others were not. I have seen other Frontier models without markings so am not really sure. Maybe early guns were not marked and later higher numbered guns were or maybe mine was in the bathroom when the markings were handed out????

Mine needs a new trigger and stocks if anyone has any let me know.

If I understand the books correctly, then your bottom gun with the pearls is not a Frontier model. I believe that they only made 15,000 of them and they start at serial number 1.

Perhaps one of the more knowledgeable members can fill us in.

Default Corrected Error

I must have copied it wrong from my inventory list. With your post I pulled out the gun for the actual number 22xx. Thanks
