In the absence of a serial number; it appears to be a .32 Double Action, Second Issue.

Welcome to the forums from the Wiregrass! I don't think that is a S&W. Looks like an H&R or Iver Johnson as the trigger and stocks are wrong for a S&W. What is stamped on top of the barrel? Also looks like it either burned in a fire or was coated with black paint.

Again, I don't believe it is a S&W. They stamped the caliber on the side of the barrel. Also, the hammer is wrong, the trigger is wrong, the cylinder stop notches are wrong and there is no sideplate on the left side of the frame. The S&W DA revolvers were highly copied both here in the US and abroad. Maybe one of the H&R or IJ experts here can comment. I believe it is an H&R similar to this one.

And, if you might very unwisely think about firing it, please see that it is missing the hinge screw. Paperweight only.

Looks like a pre-safety hammer Iver Johnson or Spanish copy of same.
Lacking pivot screw and hammer screw, not shootable.
