Default Please help me identify my tip up revolver

Only markings are for 38 smith and Wesson ctgs down the top for the barrel and the number 19348 on the trigger guard any help would be great

You have a problem here, Oatmcn, because there's never been any tip-up S&W in .38 caliber.

Some photos would be helpfull in identyfing your gun.

Please post a picture as I don't believe your gun was made by S&W. There were many guns made to shoot the .38 S&W cartridge and a lot of them were copies of the S&W design. S&W did not put a serial number on the trigger guard and none of their tip ups had cartridge stamps. Even their top breaks did not have cartridge stamps until after about 1900.
