Welcome to the Forum. Persistence and lots of searching on the Internet located a Russian cylinder for me a few years ago. You could ask in the Wanted to Buy section of this Forum. I am certain that some members of this Forum have cylinders, but may be keeping them to put in a nice gun without a good cylinder. Pictures might help in case someone might be willing to part with the parts you need. Also, keep checking on ebay, since 44 Russian parts have come up in the past. gunpartscorp.com and Propperts sometimes get new stock. Good luck.

" 1st Model Russian" is confusing, as there are several models that can fall into that description. Pls. give use better details. Serial number? Single action or double action? Blue or nickel? Photos of the gun that show what is the extraction system. Do you meed just the cylinder or with the extractor included? etc. Ed.

You still didn't tell us what you mean by "functional?" Are you needing a cylinder complete with extractor and extractor post & spring, etc., or what ? What are the problems with the cylinder you have ? Ed.

I have this same "description" problem when I go to the Doctors
Office !!!

I think I only need the CYLINDER, no star, no rod, no springs.

I really appreciate the help.

The original cylinder was split from using modern "cowboy" ammo. A very foolish & costly mistake !!!
