Welcome to the forum.

You would be better served posting this in the Lounge as this forum is for antiques. The Lounge is for general questions. Should you desire to sell it then use the non gun for sale forum.

.38 S&W Special is fairly common ammo unlike .38 S&W which is harder to come by. If I saw a box at a gun show, I probably wouldn't pay more than $10 for a full box. You can buy a box almost anywhere for $14 to $17 online or at Walmart. The other issue is shipping and the cost thereof. Ammo is heavy and most shooters aren't going to pay you top dollar plus shipping when Walmart is around the corner.

Welcome to the forums from the Wiregrass! I think maybe you have what you believe to be antique .38 Special ammo? You need to take some sharp, well lighted pictures of the box and its markings and the head stamp on one of the cartridges. Then, post them in the AMMO forum so one of the experts can tell you what you have and what it may be worth.
