Lemon squeezer grips
I need to know if the stocks on these two guns are the same size. The one with original black stocks is mine; the other is another Forum member's gun and I might have stocks for him that fit if they are the same size.
Thanks.

All models of 38 DA, 38 Safeties, and pre-war 32 HEs have the same size hard rubber stocks.

Yes, the 32 Safety stocks are smaller than the 38 Safety stocks. Unlike the 38 top-breaks, the 32 Safety stocks are bigger than the 32 DA stocks. Here is a visual comparison of all hard rubber stocks made by S&W. http://smith-wessonforum.com/blog.php?b=111

38 DAs and 38SHs are the same.
32 DAs are unique to that gun.
32 SHs are unique to that gun.
Leave 32 HEs out of it.
Right, so far?

Close . . . 38 Safety revolvers are in the same group as 38 SA, 38 DA, 38 Perfected, and 32 HE. The 22 HE and 32 DA are the same and have the smallest stocks of all. 32 Safety stocks are unique, as no other stocks will fit properly.

Stocks needed for .38 SH "Lemon Squeezer "
The gun in my photo with the white grips is my new/old .38 SH.
Thank you to all who have shared their knowledge. There is a lot I need to learn about the Lemon Squeezers. I believe my gun is a third model. The latch looks different than the pictured blue gun with the black grips. Serial # 88365.
