Default Kicking myself for not buying

I'm sure everybody has their story about missing out and regretting later, well mine came Saturday. Local gun show, a dealer had a what the tag said was a S&W single action in .38s&w, asking $275. Looked to be in good shape. I didn't have the cash on me or I would have asked to take a better look at it and probably would have made an offer or even bought at that price. Worst part is, I didn't find out what shop he was from or I could have contracted them this week and see if it sold.

Dont kick yourself for not buying, kick for not taking the cash with you.
Keep your gun poke in your pocket.

Maybe the person that did/will buy it is kicking themselves when they get it home and give it a thorough inspection for the opposite reason.

You could be very lucky that you didn't have the cash in your pocket

I intentionally had a small amount of cash with me, I went with the intention of only buying a 10/22 magazine, ended up with a 3-pack, and getting some paperwork taken care of for a purchase the previous weekend (NYS pistol permit stuff). The people from the county weren't there early so I ended up walking around to kill time, that's when I spotted it.

Howdy

If you have been following my post about my new New Model Number Three, you may notice that I forgot my checkbook when I went to a gunshow last week. When I went to purchase some targets I realized I had forgotten my check book. Oh well, I thought, that's OK, I have been spending too much money on guns recently anyway.

Then about a half hour later I came across the NM#3. That's when I really started kicking myself about forgetting my checkbook.

The story has a happy ending, I drove home (about 45 minutes) grabbed my checkbook and returned. I was hoping the gun would still be there, and it was, so all's well that ends well.

You must know there is no such thing as spending too much money on guns only not having enough money to spend on gun stuff lol
