I'm looking for a hand and hand spring for a S&W model 1, does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Sorry to say I don't know. I'm told by a forum member it is a model 1 but judging by photos I thought it was a model 2.

Does it look like the top, middle or bottom gun? All Model 1's, 1st issue, 2nd issue, 3rd issue.

Model 1's hold 7 rounds of the old .22 black powder round (dimensionally similar to a modern .22 short).

Model 1 1/2's hold 5 rounds of .32 rimfire.

Model 2's hold 6 rounds of .32 rimfire.

None of the above, it is a top break and lacks the rod beneath the barrel. It is .38 S&W

Is it a single action or a double action?

(Single action means that you *must* cock the hammer before pulling the trigger. Double action means that the hammer will cock itself when you pull the trigger.)
