Default Please help ID Great Grandfather's Revolver

Hi,
I have a 4" 38 S&W that belonged to my Great Grandfather. Any help to ID the exact make, model, and approximate year of manufacture would be greatly appreciated!
The serial number is: 523XXX
Photo is attached.
Thanks so much!

It's called simply a .38 Double Action (.38 DA. 4th Model). It dates from around 1909. You can shoot it as you can your .38 RP, same ammunition.
