I have a No 2 Army on the way to me with the broken hammer tip (the cocking spur) which I understand happened frequently. I bought it because the frame finish was so good and it has a Jinks letter. Also, the roll markings on the cylinder and the barrel are quite good compared to most I see. The negatives are hammer with broken cocking tip, one grip has been glued back together (also typical) and the bore is dark and pitted (also typical). How much trouble am I going to have finding a hammer? I have bought parts from Numrich before for my #1, but they are out of stock of the hammer. I see Jack First has some 1-1/2 second model hammers that look similar to the # 2. Any chance the hammers are the same? Anybody have a line on a hammer?
