Looking at a S&W 1891 1st model; can anyone share the price and rarity of this revolver?

I don't know the current price range, but if that's the 1st model single shot, it's not a revolver - it's a break-action that just looks like one!

A lot depends on condition and barrel length/barrel sets to estimate value. The SCSW 4th Ed. lists a range of values from Poor=$200 to As New=$3000, but these prices are dated. You might check completed auctions on gunbroker.com for recent sales, but I suspect there are not any. The .32 cal. was only 18% of the total production of 1250 pistols. So, they are pretty scarce.

Appreciate all the comments on this tip down. It is pretty nice with a 6" range barrel. If I land it, I'll post the details.

I never was either, until I saw this beauty at a gun show - I could not resist it - 3rd model "Perfected" single shot. It dates from March, 1914.
