Default Shooting my New Model #3 Target Model...22!

I finally tried my N.M. 3 Target .44 on paper that was converted to .22 in the 1920s. It shoots better than I'm shooting it here at 15 yards. I know this because I think it did very well considering my fried 63 year old eyes could barely see the tiny yet finely machined sights. They were tiny blurs, so I just centered the blur on point of aim and hoped for the best.

Smile Great looking revolver

Really enjoy #3 Smiths. The end of your barrel appears to have an extension, do they have a barrel insert to change from 38 to 22 caliber?

Default 22 rounds?

Wyatt,
Which .22 rounds did you use?

The barrel liner was a .22 rifle barrel lathed down to fit the .44 Russian bore but extended a little at the muzzle.
BMur, It was CCI. Maybe mini mags. I felt OK with that.

Here's my New Model #3 modified to .22 caliber - and single shot! Picked it up at a Tulsa gun show back in 2011.

Default Excellent Work

Wow,
That’s really nice work. They machined the insert and ejector extremely well.
