Default Wild Turkey grips

Good Morning
I came across an auction on GB for a 32 DA with "mottled rubber wild turkey" grips (auction #893308191). I had never heard of these before. But then I read that reproductions are common. How could you tell from pictures if the grips were original? I emailed the seller the same question and haven't gotten a response back.

Take your thumb and rub briskly on the inside of one of the stocks until the heat builds up and it becomes too hot for your thumb. You will either smell nothing or sulfur. If sulfur smell, they are original. Some use a heated pin, but it leaves a permanent mark.

You cannot tell from images.

Your question/ message hasn't come thru on our end, at least not yet. You might try sending it again, but I'm happy to tell you the grips on this gun are 100% original. Color is the defining factor, the repro examples are almost always found with a much darker red color. Easy to see the difference once you have seen both.
