Default Another Wesson owned revolver

I was able to add another Wesson family owned revolver recently. It is a New Model No. 3, Target. It is in .38-44 S&W, serial number 3405. It was sent to Walter Wesson, Vice President Smith & Wesson on Mach 22, 1899. He would have taken it to the matches in Madison Square Garden and later to England and Paris. I now have over a dozen Wesson guns.

I'd like to, but, being a two and a half day drive, I don't know yet. They will be in Concord in 2022.

I built this to house all the paper Roy gave me. I'd have to put an addition in the back for the guns.

Default Here is a model .38 Safety Hammerless of interest.

Hello friends,

A couple of years ago I won an auction lot of five S&Ws. Over the next couple of months I asked Roy Jinks for the shipping date of each. When he got one of these requests he replied, "You are going to want to get a full letter on this gun, it will make you feel wonderful."

Well, that was good enough motivation for me. When the letter arrived it explained that this particular handgun ..."was shipped from our factory on July 31, 1924, and delivered to Mr. Frank H Wesson, Treasurer, Smith & Wesson, Springfield, MA." The description in the letter matches the gun, and I'm very pleased.

Sometimes you get lucky.

Best wishes everyone!

Roger AKA Mr. Wonderful

When Roy tells you, "This is an interesting gun, you should letter it", you will never regret it.

You must be on the equator, to be sideways, maybe someone from Australia will post one of theirs upside down.

Can't you read! He's from Kansas! The land of tornados! Obviously the picture was taken after one went thru.

Elvis guards all that is there. Including the 63 Caddy. No idea why it posted sideways.
