Default S&W Model 1 1/2 .32 assembly

I'm stumped by the Barrel Catch Spring. I stripped the gun down and gave it a good cleaning, but I did not see the position of this spring. Now I can't figure out how it's positioned.
Here's the part (at Numrich):
Barrel Catch Spring | Gun Parts Corp.

I have a schematic of the gun and that part is called the Cylinder Stop Spring.
Any help would be great.

Update: I put on my 1870s hat and figured it out. Once I knew what that spring was meant to do, it was simple.
