I wanted to get everyone's input, what model or models of the safety hammerless/Topbreaks are safe to shoot modern ammo in. Thank you all in advance.

Marko,
You need to qualify your question a little more.
Condition of the Top-break, how much are you planning to shoot it, which "modern" ammo are you talking about. (Cowboy Action loads, Winchester White Box, Handloads, etc.)?
(And welcome to the forum.)

Good condition 90+% and a good bore, i carry a near mint blued Hopkins & Allen safety hammerles in 32 S&W as a CCW so i am talking about modern generic what ever i can get the best price on 32 or 38 smith and wesson ammo. Probably shoot it a few times a month.Dean thank you for your kind response.
PS: I think the S&W Hammerless models are about some of the nicest pocket pistols every created.

Why wonder.........."LOAD YER OWN". For less than $100 you can be set up to load your 38's and even your 32's.
My "LEMON SQUEZZER is .38 S&W,with a 3 1/4" barrel.D.O.B. is in the 1920's.
I load 2 1/2 gr Unique and a 158 gr lead round nose bullet. now, I am not telling you that it is what you need, and each gun is it's own animal. First you should have a gunsmith look at it. They can see things we can't sometimes.
Don't shoot Jacketed Bullets in a break top.
Finally, we all have gone through what you are now. Will it hold up??? Is it safe ????? Be sure, and then start with a "LOW" load.
