This weekend out club had a .22 funshoot....we shoot all kinds of things from 25-100yds....clay pigeons, golf balls, reactive targets, playing cards, ets. I decided to take some of the .22 single shot pistols as well as the 10/22's. I used my p-22 with suppressor and Viridian Green laser - great combo....but the most fun was with the S&W (and Colt) single shots....what a crowd they drew....I was nailing steel rams at 75yds and actually breaking clay pigeons at 100 yds.
I used the Perfected....
newly acquired Straightline.......
an old Free Pistol....
(I wish some of you can give me more information on this....I misplaced some of your responses and now have a working database)
and a colt Camp Perry....
The P-22 (Very quiet)....
Many shooters were amazed that I shot them(the single shots), and were staggered by the accuracy! I guess THIS is what it is all about.....Freedom from Safes!!!!

Very nice guns. Sounds like you stepped back in time and had fun doing it. Glad your shooting these guns and not just dragging them out of the safe to put oil on once in a while. Larry

I don't blame you for shooting those beauties. Showing someone up on the range with a long barrel is a treat, no matter the age of the gun.
Those look to be in awesome shape, take good care of 'em.

Terry, thank you for showing those guns. Some fine day, I'll own one, but will only be able to afford one of them - such is life.
Of the S&W's and Colt, do you have a favorite to shoot?
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give. I'm a Smith & Wesson guy, but the Camp Perry has always intrigued me.
