629-2 6" in an El Paso Saddlery Threepersons with border stamping,

Back in 1955 I received a copy of "Sixguns" by Keith. I had to have a Colt SA in 44 Spec.Took me 2 years to find a pre war SA. Then I had to have a Geo. Lawrence #120 holster for the 7 1'2 " bbl. Still have the old gun & holster. Both are in fine shape, wish I was in that good a shape.

Thanks for reviving this thread, I hadn't read it before. Some beautiful holster photos posted! I wish people wouldn't post that they find these in "used holster" boxes -- I claw through every box of old gunleather I find at LGS's & gun shows and have yet to find anything near as cool as any of the holsters shown. About the best I've ever done is a couple of different Bianchi #5's from the 70's or 80's- not bad but certainly no floral SD Myres.

I found this one on the bottom of the box and gave ten bucks for it. My 3" Chief fits nicely (Fitz 10-O-Grip, the only plastic stocks I own). On the back of the belt loop is scratched SDH '77 Cokedale, Colo.
BTW John, the answer is, nope.

Lobo, James Rowe's son, Kenny, and his son are carrying on Rowe Leather in Hope, Arkansas.
Good Folks! They make a lot of the sheaths for the custom knife folks.
