Welcome to the forum. Post the serial number and some pictures. How did you get the revolver?

Its been refinished and heavily buffed, probably buffed out the S&W logo when they buffed it for the refinish. Looks like a 5 inch barrel? The hammer and trigger should not be plated either.

What you have is a .44 Hand Ejector Third Model, also known as the Model of 1926. Yours may have been made that year, from the serial number. I am guessing that the 1907 date is from a patent date stamped on the barrel.

The first shipment was made to Wolf & Klar in Ft Worth, Texas in January, 1927. There were 75 5" nickel .44 Specials in this shipment. I own #28363, which is the lowest known number to survive (at this time).

I also own a renickled .44 #2911x,5inch barrel. Is this likely also shipped to Wolfe and Klar ? I just got it for a shooter ( and priced as such)because of the refinish but it was a nickle finish originally.
Thanks
