Default Recommendations for stock repair???

I have an older 38/44 Heavy Duty that needs to have a large chip in the stock repaired. Any forum members able to do this work? Recommendations appreciated. Thanks!

RM - please send me a PM with a picture of the problem spot. I'll let you know if I can do the work.
