4" Pre-M29 reunion.
I had a nice weekend at the Dallas Mkt. Hall Show. No major purchases or sales for me but a lot of great visiting with other Forum members.
Yesterday I was showing off my new 4 screw Pre-29 with the KB grips that I have posted here previously to a Forum member. This morning he showed up with an "I'll see your 4inch and raise you a pair" smile on his face. To increase my envy, his two are nicer than mine and he also has the boxes, accessories and Coke Bottles for both of his. To add to their attractiveness, they are about 100 numbers apart.
We thought a quick family photo of the reunion would be fun. Hope he will chime in here with his comments and maybe tell us of his other purchases.

Carumba, Mr. Bettis. Is there anything worse than Magnum envy?
I completely understand. In the years I have been doing this I have not found any suitable early 44s' that I could afford.
Sure like yours with the K.B. ropers ,,do you shoot that one.
Regards , Allen F.

Gosh, and all I got is a reblue...and no Cokes.
Love those grips without the extractor relief cut on the bottom gun.

I got a closeup look at that gun yesterday. It is as nice in person as it looks in Bob's pics.

Thanks for the kind words on my two favorite smith's.
After seeing and holding your gun with those wonderful KB Ropers, I have to have a set!
The interesting thing is, the tag that was wound around the brush had the name of leonard's sporting goods you told me about in Ft Worth.
The price is marked as $140.00.
As soon as I can figure out the picture thing, I will post some pictures of the boxes as well.
This forum has been a real find for me, lotsa great people here.
Thanks again
Sam
