Default Picked up a Model 30-1: Got Questions!

Can someone tell me when 795XXX serial numbers date to, even if it is rough guess? Also, what are your opinions on the condition? Sorry, just new to older S&W wheels.

Also, here is a Model 36 I picked up along with it.

Late '60s on the 30-1, I think. Maybe as late as 1970.

Not before 1968 because there are no diamonds around the screw hole in the stocks.

Looks good to me; I'd put it at 95% based on the photo, maybe a little better in reality.

Ahh. Would this be considered a J-Frame Round Butt?

Very much a J frame round but.

That pic looks familiar. Did you pick it up to sell it or just buy it on another site? (Nice looking pair BTW.)

I would be interested in the Model 30 and there may be others on the Forum interested as well. Please let us know when you decide sale method and terms.

Thanks, Russ
