Default IMI S&W clone

Been out of the loop for awhile..congestive heart failure, triple by-pass, mitral valve repair.slow recovery..BUT I found an interesting Israeli made M-1917 revolver. Three screw and well made. It has no markings as to caliber, no numbered parts but has the IMI logo and a serial number beneath logo. It is chambered for .38 Special but must use half moon or speed loader clips. Later versions were chambered for 9mm Luger. Any hints on where to find potential clips would be appreciated..maybe a S&W revolver product.IMI Model 1917

Interesting looking piece, but I wonder why the Israelis would bother making a .38 or 9mm service revolver on an N-size frame like the 1917 when there should have been plenty of Victories floating around to copy.

I thought these were approximate copies of the .38 Cal S&W "Military and Police', K-Frame Revolver...not the larger N-Frame M1917.
