New to posting here, but have visited before. I was to a gun show here in Ohio to advise my sister and brother-in-law on a home defense gun for their first firearm. A guy was carrying around a minty (98%) 5 screw 4" M&P with the original box that was his grandfathers. Got it for $325 which I thought was very good. Very nice for a bedroom gun, and they won't ever lose money on it. A collector gun to start out with. I also saw a 85-90% 1905 for $225 that I should have grabbed.
Serial number on the M&P is C108XXX. I know it is post war. Any date info please? Found a box of older Speer 125gr Gold Dot HP standard pressure that I told them to use. I will load them some practice ammo to learn on.
