i know it is relative to a lot of things - model, condition, original stocks and so on... but are King stocks collectible on their own, generally do they increase or decrease value vs original stocks? and is there a good web / forum link on King products / services. there are a couple links around with old catalogs - but what is current market on King items? their workmanship is really special.

While cheap aftermarket items lower the value, quality stuff is worth as much or more than factory. I'm not familiar with King's stocks, but have several of their sights. A King's full target conversion on a non-target gun is typically worth more than a target gun.
A gun with Roper grips or similar high quality target grips will be worth at least as much as factory and probably more.
Yes, all factory and quality early aftermarket grips are collectible on their own. I easily have 4 times more early grips than I have guns (and I have a lot of guns!).
