Default K-22 Questions

My grandfather has a K-22 that he is trying to figure out the value of. Any information would be a lot of help. The serial number is K307XXX. It is a 6 shot with a 6 inch barrel and adjustable rear sights. It is in about 85% condition. We are not sure whether it is a classic or masterpiece model. Thank You!!

I assume it's not model marked in the yoke. Serial number places it at 1957. That would make it a K-22 Masterpiece which became the model 17 after 1957. In 85% condition, it's about a $300-350 gun. They are great shooters.
