Default Victory US Navy on Gunbroker

I have been watching each US Navy Victory that comes up on gunbroker hoping to learn alot about them and always asking questions of the forum members.

This current one looks like a real creampuff to me, I did put a bid on it, well below what I anticipate his reserve will be, but it marks it for me.

I don't see any obvious signs that it is anything other then what the seller says, an original Navy Victory.
To me the side plate seems ok saying it probably hasn't been refinished, at least not that I can tell.

Any thoughts on the piece by anyone?

I have several .38 Spl. Victory guns, including a US Navy, just like this. Looks like a real "gun". Whats it sitting at? Don't need another one. Just wondering. The usually sell for between $500-$600.

I bid $605 and it didn't meet the reserve. The knife adds about $75 to it and the holster, at a guess $75, so I would hope about $800 total, but you never know, I wouldn't be surprised to see it go to 1k

Nice looking gun but I have to agree with Peter on this one, $500-$600 would be my maximum on this one. These are not rare guns, scarce perhaps in this condition but not a $1000 gun in my opinion.

That is true, although around Mass, they seem to bring more, but I threw out my price to see if it would break the reserve and it didn't. So I will just watch it and see what happens.

It is a nice looking gun
