Default Some Gunshow goodies, Trans HD & a couple Holsters

Found an early Transitional Heavy Duty at the show today serial # S64777, Has lots of holster wear but is solid Mechanically and everything is correct even the Magna stocks. This ones for your database Bill. Its not in the SWCA Database.

Yesterday I bought an Idaho Leather Co. Holster for a 6 or 6.5" barreled N-frame or K-frame it has 2 snaps depending on which gun you use. This morning here is a Eubanks Holster almost exactly like the one I bought yesterday except it is for a K22 or K38 an Nframe wont fit in it. Eubanks Leather was in buisness from 1939 until 1950's and then became Idaho Leather company.

a good weekend all in all.

Dan

Dan.
I have one of the Eubanks holsters some what similar. My Dad bought it way back when. We lived 40 miles outside of Boise. It is a full flap model and has plain smooth leather. Says something pretty similar to yours on the back. I will post some pics of it tomorrow.
My Dad carried an old H&R Arms Model 999 in it. I was born in 1950 and my Dad bought the gun and holster before I was born. After he had kids he was to poor to buy very many more guns.
Keep those holsters safe.

I'd have bought that HD in a heart beat. Love the character it shows.

Most of the Idaho/Eubanks holsters I've seen have the basketweave stamping and are buckstitched like yours. Some are also lined with smooth leather.
Very good quality riggin'.

Dan,

Love the transitional HD. That's a pretty early one, I believe. Good looking holsters, too. Thanks for the great pictures.

Thumbs up

Dan:

You are the King of finding nice stuff at gunshows. That HD is very nice and shows the "right" amount of wear.

Congrats,
