You've pretty much identified it yourself.
It appears to be a Model 10, from about 1959, shortly after model numbers were introduced. I have a C 412xxx that shipped in January, and have a record of a C 477xxx from December, so that puts your gun comfortably in mid-year. If you post a few pictures, additional comments about finish, stocks etc. might be possible.
