age of my sw victory ?

number under barrel v 463 472 p if any one can tell me anything about this gun i would like to know 5 screw

Welcome to the Forum.

All of the Victory model revolvers were built in 1942-45. Is yours a 4" .38 special or a 5" .38 S&W? Please post pictures that show all of the markings.

V463472 could be chambered in .38 Special (4" barrel) or .38 S&W (5" barrel). The SN would date its shipment to be around late 1943, possibly early 1944.
