According to Mr Jinks, this was shipped January 3, 1908 to Hibbard Spencer Bartlett & Co, Chicago, IL. It had checkered black hard rubber grips. I have different grips on it now, and when I bought it, it had pimpy MOP grips on it. Shoots good and I like it.
I really like the look and balance of the early round butts.
I am looking for one that looks like yours in .38 special.
See a bunch in 32-20.
Seems like almost all I see have been nickled or are on their last legs.
Your looks like a great shooter.Good score.
Is it .38 special?
I just got one last week but 4 inch blue and I cant wait to shoot it! I have had many of these in .38 but man the weight really goes up with the 32-20. Let us know how she shoots!
