Default Ivory on blued steel, flashback

I was going through some older posts of mine and ran across these pictures.
Thought some would like to gander at what I consider a beautiful combination of two world's of craftsmanship meeting together for an eye pleasing image.

The elephant tusk ivory stocks are mounted on a near perfect Model 29-2 with an S series number.

Enjoy,
bdGreen

Thanks for the pictures. That might be the nicest uncarved set of Ivory stocks I've ever seen. They are beautiful.
The Mod 29-2 ain't so bad either.

I have had thoughts of those grips for many, many years. I finally did what any right minded person in need would do. I groveled and begged for them.

I put a 'WTB' out for them, religiously. I got a strike and here they are. The gentleman that I purchased them from offered a different set first. They were nice, but, these are exactly what I have wanted to acquire for quite a long time.

Thanx to all for the nice comments.
