Default Value help on Model 1905 3rd Change .32-20 nickel plated 5" barrel

The piece is in exceptionally clean condition.
I believe it was sent back to S&W at some point for a repair or refinish, because there is a "star" stamped on it that is visible when you open the cylinder.
There is no box.

Ideas?

Tom

Is there a star stamped after the serial number, on the butt? Are there any numbers stamped on the grip frame, under the grips, such as 12.66, which would indicate a trip back to the factory in December 1966? Are the trigger and hammer still color casehardened? Can you post the serial number, or at the least, a partial number such as 123xx?

Pictures would also be helpful.

Default 1905 3rd Change

There is NOT a star stamped on the butt next to the S/N.
The only star stamp is seen on the yoke/crane area.
The date of production is 1912 I believe, but I will verify.
I do not have the gun at my home so I have asked the owner to check for a date stamp on the grip frame and whether or not the hammer/trigger are case colored.

Default Model 1905

Does anyone have the current Blue Book of Gun Values handy?
Can you look this up for me?
