These are my two M28s. The first is a 28-2 S282028. Asking price was $400.00 OTD which I thought was kind of high given the condition. Looked at it on and off for a month or so and eventually swapped a bunch of older Ruger catalogs and other shooting/outdoor paraphernalia that had been gathering dust in my workshop for decades for $175.00 in trade. Shoot it at my club's monthly steel plate/silhouette/fun/action/combat shoots and am having an absolute ball with it.
And can it shoot:
There's just something about shooting a 6" N frame Smith that wants to you to "keep on truckin' " :
Saw this for $489.00 and couldn't say no (28-2 N564890):
Don't like the target grips - too big for my hand and the gun feels awkward and heavy compared to the other one. Buddy that I shoot with has two pair of standard N-frame grips and he said I can have my pick - WOW - nice guy.
