Default price check model 14

local gun show today....found a model 14, 6 inch barrel......said it dates 57-58, about 95%, maybe a little more, box, which i think is correct....gold with blue lettering, i did not check to see if the S/N was on the box, plus some paperwork.....$595.....the guy said he might knock of $20 when i ask if the price was firm.....this appears to be a very nice origional gun.....hardly a turn line, but kind of dirty looking....should clean up very nicely.....i think the price is high.....what say the experts?

I would say about $75-100 high, but not so much that you need to feel really guilty for springing the extra money if you really like it.

IMHO If the gun was 97% condition or better, with the gold box and black knurled SAT I would think $595 would be fair. Tell the seller to come up with the SAT or knock $85.00 off of the price and see how he reacts.
