Default Smith & Wesson 22/32 target revolver

Hello everyone, new to this forum. I just purchased at a local gunshow a 22/32 Smith revolver serial no. 3914xx. This is a 22 cal. with a 6 inch barrel. Doesn't appear to have been shot much. It has great blueing and I'll post pictures when I find out how to. It has a chip out of the left grip. Does anyone make a replacement grip that is close the original? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum. Several of us here like those .22/32 guns with target sights, either in the long-barrel target version or the shorter four-inch Kit Gun version. Sounds like you have a nice one, and I'm looking forward to seeing photos.

That serial number puts your gun around 1924.

I don't know anyone who makes replacement extension stocks for these small-frame target revolvers, but two or three members of this forum are expert stock restorers. I'm sure you could get an invisible repair from one of them.

Pictures, please, as soon as possible!

Again, welcome.

You have a 22/32 Heavy Frame Target, more commonly referred to as the Bekeart model.
