Question .32 HE - Third Model barrel length(s) Question

I picked up a couple of these today (serial #'s 231436 & 345913) and both have 3 1/4" barrels. It seems to me I see more 4 1/4" guns. Would I be correct to assume the shorter barrel is less common? (not rare, just less common).

Thanks.

Bob

I think that's true for both the second and third model .32 HEs. Some stats I have seen suggest that the shorter barrel was more common among the first model revolvers.

I think the six inch barrels are least common in all three models.

Thanks David. The guns shoot good...took them to the range tonight. Fun guns...not "lookers" but shooters.
