Default PRE MODEL 29

Hi folks,I Just purchased this pre model 29 4 screw serial number s17083x in near mint condition. It was a private purchase and I think it was my greatest find of all time at 650.00.I was told it only had a box of 50 pumped thru it.I didn't clean all the oil of it yet,but I'm working on it.Here are some poor pictures.

Please go play the lottery - when you win big, remember who told you to play!

Congrats on the 44 Magnum!

Here's style you need (black screwdriver is most likely NOT correct - per the experts)

Wow, $650 for a very nice pre-29 with perfect looking Cokes. That is a very, very, very good find. Congrats on that one.

Very good grasshopper. I have S170894 that shipped July 1957..only slightly better shape, but I gave a little more than that. VM is right on the case, but the screwdriver should be aluminum with 8 or 9 rows of knurling.

Aren't the cokes worth $300 or $400 alone?

Stocks are worth $500-$600 at auction.

Was the seller this foolish with land deals, too?

Default Pre 29

I live in Minnesota too.
Why can't I ever find deals like this ?
Oh well, I was also born in 1957, if this gun dates to then I am especially
jealous.
Oh, thats right , someone gave me a Registered Magnum for free, I got my once in a lifetime deal !
I better shut up or the gods of luck are going to frown on me !
Good for you it looks great !

How do you people find these deals!?!?! You must be doing that "living right" thing. Congrats on the revolver, that's a heck of a deal.
