Default Bought these grips...

off of ebay about 3 weeks ago. They were advertised as N Diamond Targets. They showed up bein' non-relieved DT's.

They were shellacked, the bottoms were burned as if they were in a fire, and a piece is chipped out of both at the back frame corner. The right checkering field has a chunk out of it. I sanded 'em down, cut a 1/4 inch off the bottoms to get rid of the burns, sanded that. Rubbed 'em with some oil, heated 'em in the oven, put some poly urethane on 'em, sanded 'em with oooo steel wool. They turned out lookin' like this.

Went to put 'em on my 25-2, just for fun, and they don't fit! Turns out they're Non-Relieved K Diamond Targets. They look just fine on this old, beat up, lead-shavin', K38.

Seems like a good match to me. These early stocks have a more rounded contour and feel much better in my hand than do the later style.

Default Yeah, SP.....

I'm with you on that one. Some of the newer stuff feels like holding a 2x4. Forgot to mention, I paid $16 for those.
