Default Picked up a 4 screw model 10 4"

the model 10 has a "w" lying on its side with the base pointing toward the serial number, then a V in front of the serial number. V452XXX

just right of the release button it has..." Pol. Br. LuS."

any Ideas as to what I got?
looks very good, and shoots excellent.Locks up tight andshould be a good shooter down the road

The V in the serial number indicates this is a Victory Revolver made during WWII. Probably made in 1943 or 1944. The letters near the release button may indicate some type of police use.

Hope this helps.

Sounds like a good deal to me. As long as you are happy with it then you got your money's worth.
