How odd... I was doing the same thing today. I picked up a holster for my 4 digit 1953 kit gun and was playing with the camera. Gotta love those kit guns.

OK, it's the third holster I have bought for that gun.
#1
#2 is just a plain jane S&W and I don't have any pictures of it.
and #3 is an old Hunter 3100 Hand Carved I found at the OGCA show for 20 bucks.

Those Hunter holsters with trigger-guard straps work great on hammerless guns. I have one for my 642 that I scored used for $5. Not as purty as yours though.
Those kit guns are nice guys!

wow - we're only 19 numbers away Jim.
I was wooed by a 4" in the 31xxx series today. Hint of muzzle wear was the only thing that kept it from being 100%. In the blue box that is not often seen. The first of these boxes I saw on the forum here just a few weeks ago. Will try to find a pic. I left it at gunshow - $700. shoulda bought it
Found the box pic - thanks to FirearmsUnlimited for the pic.

Seems that we've a plethora of 4 digit guns here! I have #2336. It did not come with original stocks and so gives me something to search for at the shows this year though I have a set of non-diamond Magnas that fit nicely. I'm assuming that it's a 1953 ship date which makes it a year older than me.

I had 237, but sold it to my table partner at gun shows. Joe has it now. And I've got the Devil's gun, 666. But the box it lives in is the pastel black one. Its got a number on the bottom, in the 14,000s range as I recall. I think 666 came to me via Lyle and David. Guess they feel I'm the closest thing to the Devil they've met recently...
